NCF brings Christmas cheer with Carols in Town

As Christmas Day approaches, the spirit of cheer will be brought to each of the island’s towns through a series of mini concerts hosted by the National Cultural Foundation (NCF).
The first installment of Carols in Town took place Saturday night at Independence Square, The City.

Although technical difficulties caused a delay in the start, those present waited patiently for the showcase of talent by a 100 per cent Barbadian cast.

Hosted by Mario Howell and Antwone Holder — products of the NCF’s Teen MC program — the show commenced with Sisters in Harmony. This act featured Sky Dowridge, winner of the 2023 Richard Stoute Teen Talent competition, who alongside her sisters Niah and Naiomi delivered The Prayer.

Vocalist Tavon Boyce took the stage solo to perform O Holy Night before being joined by his friends for a rendition of Come All Ye Faithful
