The male student injured in Monday’s altercation at the Alexandra School was treated and discharged from the Maurice Byer Polyclinic, the Ministry of Education said in an update.
A statement said the ministry remains in close communication with the principal and administration of the school as it continues to provide the necessary support for the smooth functioning of the Speightstown, St Peter institution, in the interest of the safety and security of students, teachers and staff.
Classes will resume tomorrow at the school which is celebrating Founders’ Week to mark its 130th anniversary.
