CHRISTMAS PROMOTION

Three Angels for Red

Red Advertising won 3 Angel Awards, including two gold in this year’s American Advertising Federation Angel Awards.

The leading advertising and marketing Company was the most awarded agency in the Caribbean including leading in Barbados for the 7th year running for these awards, which highlight exceptional work for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the Public Good initiatives.

Red won 3 Angels in total, one Gold for the highly successful “Joy vs Giving” Christmas Kettle Appeal for The Salvation Army. This campaign pitted longtime Salvation Army supporters Anderson

“Blood” Armstrong and Mikey Mercer in a friendly acapella sing off!
The campaign was extremely well received and went on to spearhead a record collection for this appeal of over $900,000!

The Salvation Army also was awarded a second Gold Angel through Red for its Mother’s and Father’s Days campaign behind its long running “Helping Hands” campaign.

To complement these Gold Angels, Red also garnered another Silver Angel for perennial winners, The Norman Centre.
This was for social media campaign supporting Black History Month/Emancipation Day. This continued a 4-year Angel winning spree for The Norman Centre behind Red’s CSR work.

Managing Director, Jevan Jutagir commended his team and his clients on their Angel Award winning creative work:

“Once a year I get to beat this drum! Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) work and Public Good Work are now mainstream marketing communication. You ignore having a well worked out and executed CSR strategy at your peril. Your competitors all have similar products…but what are they doing for their communities? Consumers want to know this before they spend their hard-earned cash.

Your CSR programmes can put you first and generate loyalty better than many mainstream marketing initiatives.
Its time has come, is your company on the boat…or on the dock getting left behind? Call us.”

Stephanie Herdon, Governor of The American Advertising Federation’s Fourth District added:
“The advertising industry in Florida and the Caribbean continually champions the charitable causes in our communities. It is an honour to recognize and celebrate the agencies that use their talents to create artful and compelling campaigns to support these impactful initiatives”.
