Two mothers were blessed with an extra special gift on Christmas Day.
They welcomed bouncing babies earlier this morning at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
First time mother Tamara Bailey said she was overwhelmed with emotion and excited about her new journey.
The 18-year-old delivered a boy named Jomar Fenty at 12:52 a.m., weighing seven pounds and one ounce.
The next baby, a seven pound two ounce girl, was delivered around 8:24 a.m. Her mother Sanchia Phillips has not decided on a name as yet. This is her second child, the eldest is an 11-year-old boy.
Nursing officer Sophia Bend said more babies were expected to be delivered later in the day. (SZB)
