Two people were injured in a shooting incident that occurred at South District, St George around 1:55 a.m., on Monday, January 6.
According to police, the victims — a 36-year-old man who was contracted to drive employees home and a 53-year-old woman, an employee and front seat passenger — were shot multiple times by an unknown man in a white motor car. The victims were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.
Police are appealing to the public for any information that could assist with their investigations. Anyone with information is urged to call the District ‘B’ Police Station at 437-4311, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest police station.
Police have assured that “all information received will be strictly confidential.”
