Barbados has recorded its third road fatality for the year.
Motorcyclist Alex Crichlow, 27, of Gall Hill, Christ Church died after being involved in a collision with a lorry along Lodge Road, at its junction with Durants Road, Christ Church around 1:45 p.m.
According to police, Crichlow was travelling along Lodge Road when a collision occurred as the lorry was exiting Durants Road.
Crichlow was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this accident to contact the Oistins Police Station at 418-2612 or 418-2606.
