Ingredients
2 can of Western Sardines
2 can Western Diced Sauce
1/2 bell pepper, julienned
1/2 onion, julienned
4 cloves garlic, mashed
1 tablespoon of tomato sauce
2 cups water
1 organic bay leaf
1/2 bunch chopped thyme
1/2 bunch chopped marjoram
1 1/2 teaspoon organic ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon organic oregano
1/2 teaspoon organic cayenne pepper
Sea salt to taste
1/2 bunch cilantro or parsley, minced
Method
Sauté olive oil, bell pepper, garlic ,thyme , marjoram and onion in a medium to large pan over medium heat until fragrant and onion is translucent.
Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, cumin, oregano, thyme ,marjoram and bay leaf . Stir well and bring to a boil.
Reduce to a simmer and add sardines . Cook on low for 20 minutes.
Serve with rice and salad.
